Sekiguch poised for Donington comeback

Taro Sekiguchi will kick-off his 2005 campaign next week at Donington Park. The Japanese rider crashed heavily during the winter tests at Jerez back in March and has had to endure a four-month layoff.

Having recovered from a fracture of the right femur and knee-cap damage, Sekiguchi will make his debut with his new 250cc outfit, the Campetella Racing team.

During his recovery, Frenchman Hugo Marchand and Italian Michele Danese stood in for him. A Yamaha stalwart for most of his career, 30-year-old Sekiguchi will make his Aprilia debut.
