Record breaking season continues in the 125cc class

The very unpredictable season of racing in the 125cc class continued at the British GP with yet another new rider on top of the podium. So far this year many records and milestones have been recorded in the class, including:

· Six different riders have won in the 125cc class in the first eight races of 2005; Mattia Pasini, Gabor Talmacsi, Thomas Luthi, Mika Kallio, Marco Simoncelli and Julian Simon.

· For five of the riders who have won this year it has been their debut GP win: Pasini, Talmacsi, Luthi, Kallio and Simon.

· Already eleven different riders have appeared on the podium in the 125cc class in the first eight races of the year.

· There have now been forty-seven races in the 125cc class without a rider taking back-to-back victories.
