The Crescent 2005 Open Weekend will be held on August 13-14th and promises to be the best celebration of motorcycling ever held at the fantastic Crescent Performance Centre in Verwood, Dorset. With free entry more than 10,000 visitors are expected to attend and there is a host of attractions and entertainment on offer that will satisfy everyone.

The fans will have the opportunity to meet British Superbike stars such as John Reynold, Niall Mackenzie and James Haydon but also Crescent managing director and Team Suzuki MotoGP manager Paul Denning. The 990cc GSV-R MotoGP prototype will be on display and the visitors will have a taste of the MotoGP paddock as the MotoGP team race transporter will also be on display.

There will be many stands with various offers for riders and fans alike, but also attractions with the opportunity to win VIP passes for BSB and MotoGP events, signed kits and a pillion ride with Niall Mackenzie at Oulton Park.

John Hopkins won't be able to attend the event as previously scheduled, as the American rider went back to California to have surgery to his left foot after his crash at Sachsenring.
