Movistar Honda and Repsol Honda on par

Thanks to Max Biaggi's third position and Nicky Hayden's fifth at Brno, the Repsol Honda team is now on par with Fausto Gresini's Movistar Honda in the team championship table, with the two outfits joint-second with 241 points behind the Gauloises Yamaha team.

The Movistar Honda team had a strong start to the 2005 campaign, but the official HRC team now appears to have the upper hand as Biaggi and Hayden have scored a total of 94 points over the last four races, while Sete Gibernau and Marco Melandri have only managed 50 points in that time.

The Repsol Honda outfit will try to maintain its momentum as the MotoGP bandwagon heads to Asia for the Japanese and Malaysian GPs. The Championship will also stop off in Qatar and Australia ahead of the inaugural Turkish GP on the Istanbul circuit, before the season ends with the traditional curtain call at Valencia.
