Two Aoyamas to ride at Motegi

Movistar rider Hiroshi Aoyama is in his second year as a factory rider in the 250 class and will next week face one of the most exciting and important events of his season. The Honda star will take on brother Shuhei who, after finishing in a creditable eighth position last year, will again race in the Japanese GP at Motegi.

Aoyama, team-mate of Dani Pedrosa, has two podium finishes to his credit this season and is beginning to demonstrate his obvious talent after a difficult start to the campaign. He is sure to be pushing hard for victory at his home track, and demonstrated at Donington – where he showed his class in the wet conditions before falling - he is capable of winning.

`I expected more good results, especially at the beginning of the season but things are getting better now. I just would have liked to have done more earlier on. I don't know exactly what's changed, but I know now I've got better feeling with the bike, I'm improving my riding style and my physical condition is getting better. I'm sure the results will keep getting better.'

Aoyama explained that he is not going to use any special tactics at Motegi, his strategy will be to `try to the maximum´. Speaking about the chance to ride against his brother, Hiroshi added: `It's going to be fun, but bad in a way also because I cannot lose to him. I must win!'.
