Talma makes flying visit to Hong Kong

Instead of heading back to Europe after the Qatari Grand Prix, Red Bull KTM's Gabor Talmacsi continued his fly-away tour by stopping off in Hong Kong ahead of the Polini Australian Grand Prix to be held at Phillip Island this weekend.

The Hungarian, who took his third Grand Prix victory at Losail in controversial circumstances ahead of team-mate Mika Kallio, accepted an invitation from leathers manufacturer Arlen Ness and visited the firm's factory in Hong Kong. The rider was warmly welcomed by the managers of the factory and enjoyed a guided tour to discover how his racing outfit is produced.

"I'm glad to be able to get to a place like this, it's very interesting, and visiting a city like Hong Kong is fantastic," said Talma, who also paid a visit to the only KTM shop in the city whose employees enjoyed meeting and chatting for a while with the Hungarian star.

However, the stop didn't mean Talmacsi was in holiday mode and he continued to train ahead of Phillip Island as continues his pursuit of third place overall in the Championship.
