Trio to test for D'Antin Pramac

The D'Antin Pramac team have announced the names of the riders who will take part in the test held at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Cheste this week. No less than three riders will run on the team's 2005 package, a Dunlop-shod Ducati Demosedici GP4.

Roberto Rolfo, the team's sole rider in 2005, will be joined on Wednesday and Thursday by British rider James Ellison, who has just completed his first full MotoGP campaign with the Blata WCM team, and Spaniard José Luis Cardoso, who rode in the premier class for the team managed by Luis D'Antin in 2001 on a Yamaha YZR500.

In 2005, Cardoso was riding in the WSBK Championship on Yamaha machinery, but he has extensive experience of Grand Prix racing. His GP debut came back in 1993 when he entered the 125cc Spanish GP as a wildcard. From then, he spent several years in the 250cc class before moving up to the 500cc in 1999.

Luis d'Antin has confirmed to that his team will comprise two riders next year, riding 2006 ‘client-spec' Ducati Demosedicis.
