Biaggi remains coy over future

Max Biaggi has refused to reveal his plans for next season or even whether he will still remain in the MotoGP class. The Roman rider attended a ‘Q & A' session on Friday at the Bologna Motorshow, organised by Italian sports newspaper ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport', but remained tight-lipped as to what the 2006 season held for him.

Biaggi did confirm that he had been offered a ride by Kawasaki next year, adding that he had been guaranteed support by Bridgestone. "Bridgestone have confirmed that they would have no problem in supplying tyres for my bike," the ‘Roman Emperor' stated. "Kawasaki are the team and Camel would be the sponsor and I have told them I am available. But now I am waiting for other offers."

The Italian, who split from Honda after a troubled campaign as their factory rider last term, went on to completely dismiss speculation that he could opt to rejoin the Japanese factory as a test rider. "Could you see Max Biaggi as a test rider?" he asked sarcastically.
