Cluzel lands Angaia Racing chance

Jules Cluzel has joined the Angaia Racing team with whom he will compete in next season's 125cc Championship on board a Honda. The French rider made his debut in the World Championship this year, taking part in the French GP as a wildcard, and then standing in for Sascha Hommel at malguti for the final three races of the season.

The youngster, who is just 17 years of age, has graduated from the MotoGP Academy project. Cluzel demonstrated his quality, although without much good fortune, during a number of races in the Spanish 125 CEV Buckler championship last season, with his best finish being a fifth place in Albacete. Angaia Racing entered two riders in the 125 championship last term, Federico Sandi and Toshihisa Kuzuhara. However, in 2006 they have also been offered a place in the 250 class although they have yet to confirm a rider for that challenge.
