New measures for Mugello 2006

The Italian circuit of Mugello is to introduce a series of new measures for the new Italian GP to ease accessibility and increase the comfort of fans. The changes include the introduction of a zone reserved entirely for those camping at the circuit, free parking outside the circuit, reduced prices for the considerably older and younger fans and also the introduction of giant screens that will help fans to follow the action.

The first new idea will be the creation of a ticket specifically for campers which will be available during pre-sales. This ticket, however, will not include access to any kind of vehicle.

Having collaborated with the local government, Mugello will also offer a number of free parking areas, available between Thursday June 1 and Sunday June 4 on the days of the race weekend which should facilitate access to the circuit.

There will also be a restructing of ticket allocation for the weekend, as children under the age of 13 - accompanied by an adult - will go in for free, whilst there will be reduced prices for 13-16 year-olds and pensioners. Meanwhile, a total of nine giant screens will be erected around the circuit to ensure that fans are provided with the best possible view of the action as it unfolds.
