Angaia Racing now without Danese in 250cc

The Angaia Racing Team continue their wait to reach an agreement for a rider with which to compete in the 250cc World Championship. The Italian team, who last week announced Michele Danese as their representative to make the jump to the quarter-litre category, stated yesterday that they would now not be able to use the young Italian.

As confirmed by the manager of Angaia Racing Team, Paolo Tajana, Danese´s manager informed him of the annulment of the agreements reached owing to certain problems which they had run into with Michele, and that the team aimed to have a sponsored rider.

The team, who have participated in the 125cc World Championship since 2000, are weighing up various options for the seat left by Michele Danese for their new 250cc adventure. Tajana has added that it is highly probable that during the course of the week they will be able to confirm the name of their new rider.
