Capirossi and Gibernau have fun in car race....over snow!

The riders of the Ducati Marlboro MotoGP team, Loris Capirossi and Sete Gibernau, travelled last weekend to Madonna di Campiglio in order to participate as guests in a car race over marked snow in the activities of the 16th edition of the Wroom F1 meeting, that takes place annually in the Italian ski resort of Trentino.

Behind the wheel of a pair of Fiat Panda Abarths, Capirossi and Gibernau matched themselves up against the official drivers and testers of the Ferrari F1 team, Michael Schumacher, Felipe Massa, Luca Badoer and Marc Gené. The MotoGP riders showed their excellent driving skills and Gibernau finished having driven the best part of the race´s 20 laps in front of the multiple time F1 champion Schumacher, whilst Capirossi achieved third position. The same location will host the meeting of the Ducati MotoGP team with the media, an act which serves as the official presentation of the new season for the Italian outfit, and the unveiling of Sete Gibernau as their main novelty. The team members will set off at the end of the week for Malaysia, where next Monday they will resume the preseason program and development of the Desmocedici GP6 in the Sepang circuit.
