Gibernau stays in the pits due to delicate state of Phillip Island

Sete Gibernau elected against playing an on-track part in the Australian Test´s second day, as a result of the unfavourable weather conditions. After waiting for the track to dry after a morning downpour he then had to face another heavy shower which ruined the final part of the session.

Motogp.com interviewed the Spanish rider to find out how he is adapting to the Desmosedici GP06 at the Australian track. Gibernau, in an interview offered in the video section, highlighted in particular the great form the Ducati showed in Sepang and spoke again about the challenge this new and exciting season holds for the Italian team.

`We have a long way to go and maybe this is the reason why I have a such a good feeling about the whole year. I'm going to make a big effort, just like the team and everyone in this project´ the Ducati rider commented in his statements.
