Porto starts work with the new HRC 250

This week at the Circuit de Catalunya Sebas Porto came into contact for the first time with the newest version of the Honda HRC 250, a ride with which he will try to regain the ground lost last season and once again become one of the big title contenders.

The Argentine rider, who worked alongside his new Repsol Honda teammate Shuhei Aoyama, in addition to the Humangest Team riders Andrea Dovisioso and Yuki Takahashi, registered the fastest time in the first of two days of practice.

This year Porto once again mounts the Japanese factory´s bike under the guidance of Alberto Puig, with whom he previously worked in 2003. During the tests he was able to check the development of Honda´s new model against that which he used at the end of last year in Jerez, in his first encounter with his new team. The engine response, as well as the chassis balance, are the two aspects that the Honda rider has underlined as the key improvements of the new prototype.
