Three Aprilia riders: Lorenzo, De Angelis and Barberá

Jorge Lorenzo, Alex de Angelis and Héctor Barberá are Italian factory Aprilia´s three faces in the coming 250cc World Championship.

The two Spanish riders are both firm contenders for the title, especially the combatative Lorenzo. The Majorcan has become a creator of pole positions and first row starts, backed up by various podium finishes.

Angelis joins Jorge Martinez `Aspar´s team as the Spanish outift´s only 250cc rider, with the mission objective of overcoming his greatest hurdle in his Grand Prix career: winning races.

Barberá, after a year of acclimatisation to the heady heights of the quarter litre category, steps out in 2006 in the saddle of a bike made by the same factory as his talisman 125cc ride, one which helped him achieve runner up status.
