Hopkins happy despite early finish in Qatar

Suzuki´s second test of 2006, the Qatar Test saw the team attempting to make up ground lost in Sepang, where electronic problems blighted their development. Finishing their stay at the Losail Circuit yesterday, the session finished slightly early for John Hopkins, who suffered a few problems with the engine feed and decided against joining the afternoon practice. However both he and teammate Chris Vermeulen were pleased with the progress carried out by the team.

Hopkins spoke to motogp.com about the past few days, in an interview where he highlighted the intensity of the work, commented on the circuit and revealed what the focus of the GSV-R´s testing had been.

In a statement from the exclusive interview, Hopkins noted "We´re trying everything to get better and better and better….we´ve been through more changes today than we have since I arrived at Suzuki"
