Bad weather hampers Estoril Test day 2

Just like the MotoGP teams in Sepang, those present for the 125cc and 250cc tests in Estoril have seen their plans hampered by the weather. Today's second session of testing was delayed due to heavy rainfall at the Portuguese track.

The teams waited until the asphalt had dried completely before attempting to ride on it. One of those notably absent was Alex Debón. The Aprilia test rider suffered a serious injury to his little finger as a result of yesterday's crash and was moved immediately to hospital in Valencia.

Junior KTM's young rider Michael Ranseder suffered mechanical problems and Anthony West suffered a fall, although it was without serious consequences. The Austrian team KTM team have brought both their 125cc squadrons, alongside the 250cc team, to the Portuguese Test.
