Pedrosa pleased with preseason progress

Dani Pedrosa´s final session at Sepang was, like those of the other motogp riders, hampered by the intermittent rainfall which hit the Malaysian track. The Spaniard today completed a total of 35 laps, although his fastest lap was somewhat slower than that of the first session.

The young rookie has been working with a modified chassis whilst he tries to adapt to the Honda RC211V. In an interview with motogp.com, Pedrosa stated "I´m happy, we have gained experience and we are learning, which is the most important thing. We just have to continue learning and I hope to be up at the top of the standings more regularly"

The Spanish rider will now travel to Japan together with teammate Nicky Hayden, where they will take part in a celebration of the new season organised by Honda next Monday. From there they will set off for London to rest for a few days before the Official Catalunya Test.
