World Champion Lüthi prepares for title defence

The Caffe Latte Elit GP team turned out in Swiss rider Thomas Lüthi's native Zürich yesterday, part of the Swiss-Moto festival that takes place this week.

The local rider and current 125cc World Champion was the main subject of the media´s gaze. The event was a chance for the team to present their new project for the 2006 season, which they undertake with the support of the Swiss dairy product manufacturer Emmi as their main sponsor.

Lüthi will line up on the 125cc grid alongside German teammate Sandro Cortese this season. The team has a completely different look to last year, with both bike and leathers using red, white and navy blue as their main colours.

Caffe Latte Elit head to Valencia next week to undertake their final testing before the official events in Catalunya and Jerez.

Lüthi will this week attend the Zurich festival once again in order to challenge fans to a race…..although this time it will be on the official MotoGP4 Playstation 2 game.
