76th Assen Grand Prix ticket prices announced

The TT Circuit at Assen has announced ticket prices for the 76th Assen TT MotoGP race. Almost half of the allocated grandstand tickets for the Dutch TT on June 24th have already been snapped up, just a few weeks after going on sale on the circuit's official website. Some 28,000 of the total 60,000 grandstand seats have been booked up for the Grand Prix, which will have new grandstands at the famous circuit's northern loop. The TT Circuit Assen also holds a large capacity (40,000) for standing spectators, also at the newly introduced embankments in the new Northern loop near Ossebroeken corner.

The rates for the training days remain the same, where (just as on race day) children of 12 and under have free admission to a standing room place and youths from 13 up to and including 15 years old pay a 5 euro fee. A standing room place for the June 24th race will cost 40 euros, with the most expensive tickets being 80 euros in the main stands. The introduction of giant video screens will also add to the viewing experience at the historic circuit.

The Haarbocht stand will be upgraded extensively before the coming TT. The banking at the Haarbocht (Formerly the Talud-, S-Bocht- and Haarbocht stand) has been raised a few metres to allow all TT fans in all tiers a higher vantage point. Tickets can be purchased at www.tt-assen.com and through the pre-sale addresses in Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain and Austria.
