MotoGP Official Test welcomes spectators in Montmeló

The MotoGP Official Test starts today at the Catalunya Circuit near Barcelona. With the season fast approaching, the Test is seen as something of a preview for the 2006 World Championship. Today and tomorrow morning the 125cc teams will take to the track, before the arrival of the 250cc teams in the afternoon for a day and a half of testing. The MotoGP riders will then start their official test program on Friday, which continues throughout the weekend.

Members of the public who wish to attend the Test will enter free from Tuesday to Friday. A small fee of 5 euros for the entire weekend has been set by the Circuit.

In addition, fans who show their tickets for the 2006 Catalunya Grand Prix upon entry will enter free on Saturday and Sunday. All sessions run from 10am to 6pm, with the following stands open to the public: Main stand (Principal), sections J,K,E and F (main straight eastern side) and B, G, C and H (Stadium zone northern side)

Spectators who this weekend choose to buy tickets for June 18th's Gran Premi Cinzano de Catalunya 2006 will in addition receive a 5% discount in all areas offered by the seller. The Catalan circuit will have vending points open at offices 1,2,4 and 7 throughout the weekend.
