Olivé comfortable and confident for 2006

Joan Olivé is hoping to become one of 125cc's major players in the coming season. Riding an Aprilia RS125 for the SSM Racing team, the Spaniard is optimistic and excited about a year in which he is confident about earning consistently good results.

The Aprilia rider was one of the few Spaniards to have a happy 2005 season in the category, thanks to a third place in Mugello.

"The 125cc class is very open and with a high level of talent, as was shown last year. Because of this I have to be cautious until I see myself on the track. The bike is fast and consistent and I feel really happy with the technicians, who understand me better than anyone ever has"

"We have started to work with the new bike, and through the tests carried out until now we have continued improving. This is obviously the most important thing. I'm comfortable on the bike and am confident that this will be a good season" added Olivé.

"This year I feel great, everything has started in the best possible way and I believe that the bike is competitive. But one has to remember that every season 125cc racing is very competitive, so it will surely be a difficult year"
