Bradley Smith has first Test with peers

Yesterday's MotoGP Official Test first day was an especially important occasion for one rider. Briton Bradley Smith saw the fulfilment of all the responsibility placed on his young shoulders, when he undertook his first test alongside the rest of the 125cc World Championship field.

Also the first occasion to see the MotoGP graduate with new leathers and livery, Smith gave an exclusive interview to motogp.com in which he described his feeling upon viewing his new attire.

"Walking into the garage and seeing the new leathers and bike livery is amazing. The bike has all the parts decided that I'm aware of for the coming season, and it is superfast"

During the interview, young Bradley also took the time to describe the difference between the year-round testing schedule of the MotoGP Academy and the World Championship calendar, the role of the weather in Catalunya and his aims for the season.

At the end of day one he had the 30th fastest time, a lap of 1´53.767. He continues to test with his Repsol Honda team until the 250cc teams hit the track at 2pm.
