Weather conditions make their mark in Jerez

Wind, cold and completely overcast skies have been the story of today's second session of 250cc testing in Jerez. As of midday only a small number of riders had taken to the track in order to undertake a few laps of the Andalusian circuit.

Out of those braving the conditions, Anthony West has been the fastest so far, although his time of 1'48 is well off the laps clocked in yesterday's first session. Both the Oficial Honda and Aprilia teams have stayed in boxes, although there is a good chance that they will at least complete a small number of laps in this the final Test of the preseason.

With the 125cc squadrons having already completed testing, tomorrow will see the start of MotoGP's premier class' turn in Jerez, where they will test throughout the weekend in preparation for the season's curtain raiser on March 26th.
