Melandri and Elías on Jerez and preseason

Marco Melandri and Toni Elias used the last session of preseason testing to carry out tyre tests on the Michelins. Both the Italian and the Spaniard clocked up a large number of laps testing the rubber, with Elias working especially hard and putting in 100 laps in the process.

In an interview with motogp.com, he spoke about what remains for the team in order to be completely ready for the 2006 season.

"We have different things to improve, in particular the chassis and the suspension. We have to continue working with Michelin in order to find solutions for the future," commented the Spaniard.

Last year's World Championship runner-up Marco Melandri was also happy with the work undertaken at the Andalusian circuit. In another exclusive interview with motogp.com, the Italian stated that "It has been a difficult winter. We must improve even more, but I am confident."
