Bradley Smith "giving as good as he gets"

British youngster Bradley Smith is optimistic about the coming season. Present at the British media event in London, Oxford's rising 125cc star gave an exclusive interview to motogp.com in which he talked about the preparation he and his Honda team are undertaking.

"We're on the checklists now, just ticking off what needs to be done. We've got a good setting, not perfect but I'm happy with it," commented the MotoGP Academy graduate.

"I experienced a bit of the old ‘bumping and barging' at the Official Test in Catalunya, but it doesn't phase me. I have to give as good as I get and battle the other riders. I want to be on the front page of the timesheets, and my first goal is to do a 1'48 round Jerez."

In the video interview, Smith also commented on the state of Spanish 125cc racing, his new team and the opportunity given to him by the MotoGP Academy.
