Trophy design competition for French and Italian Grands Prix

Telecom Italia, main sponsor of the Le Mans and Mugello Grands Prix under their Alice brand, have announced an intriguing competition for creative MotoGP fans.

The contest, which involves designing the trophies to be received by the winners of the two races, is part of a collaboration with Dorna Sports (the rights holders for the World Championship) and Ducati Corse. It is aimed at all art and design students in Italy.

The creations will be presented from today until April 10th, and will be available to view online. A jury comprised of the Ducati Marlboro Team's riders Sete Gibernau and Loris Capirossi, journalists and designers will make the final decision on the victor.

The winning designer will be invited to the French Grand Prix, where he will be able to watch the presentation of their trophy in person.
