Some 125cc and 250cc riders left their bikes by the wayside for a day and opted for local transport on the eve of the Commercialbank GP of Qatar weekend at the Losail circuit.

Young talents Jorge Lorenzo, current leader of the 250cc series, the Aoyama brothers and Gabor Talmacsi, who won last year's 125cc race in Qatar ahead of Mika Kallio, rode camels in a dedicated area, where they also discovered several details of the local culture. They enjoyed other typical activities of the region, like henna tattoo, dances or wearing relevant outfit for this traditional leisure.
