Red Bull MotoGP Academy riders undertake second test

The Red Bull MotoGP Academy keep on testing, with their quest to uncover this season's future stars of MotoGP well underway. Last week, they undertook a two day session at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Cheste, Valencia.

British rider Daniel Webb was absent from the test through a wrist injury suffered during physical preparation in February, although his return is scheduled for the next meeting. This left five young riders undertaking work at the Spanish track, guided by Alberto Puig and Raul Jara (ex 125cc rider and Sporting Director) as they tried to accustom themselves to both bike and circuit.

The first day saw the riders putting in laps behind Jara, with the second day dedicated to 40 minutes of free practice and a 15 consecutive lap afternoon session.

The Red Bull MotoGP Academy will reconvene at the end of the month for the third test in Albacete.
