The communication between rider and mechanic is one of the most important factors in MotoGP success. When the slightest change can be the difference between a victory and a finish outside the points, identifying and solving problems becomes even more of an issue.

Danielle Romagnoli, Chief Mechanic to Colin Edwards, gave motogp.com a crash course in chassis geometry at the recent Commercialbank Grand Prix of Qatar. In this feature, the Italian explained what goes into adjusting the chassis of a MotoGP bike, and also guides us through some hypothetical situations based on typical rider feedback.
