Mularoni: "Soon we will be on level pegging"

Andrea Dovizioso remains the frontrunner of the Humangest Racing team, as they face a dominant group of Aprilia riders at the start of the 2006 season in the lower cylinder classes. Team Manager Cirano Mularoni is well aware of the challenge ahead.

"You have to say that in both the 125cc and the 250cc class our bikes don't appear to be amongst the fastest on the grid, whereas other teams are looking very strong and competitive."

"However, I'm pretty satisfied with Humangest Racing's results," added Mularoni. "I'm convinced that soon we'll be on level pegging. Andrea Dovizioso in Particular is in good shape, with two podiums already this season. In Qatar victory eluded him by only thousandths of a second. Takahashi started well but had some problems in Losail. In any case, the team are in good form to have a great season."

"In 125cc Talmacsi continues to show his consistency, whilst Baroni is a debutante this season and has to focus on gaining experience."

Mularoni is optimistic and is confident that the playing field will soon be levelled, stating that "it's only the start of the season and there are still many races ahead. We need time to regain the ground lost thus far."
