Circuit de Catalunya improves facilities

Work on the public areas of the Circuit de Catalunya was completed last week, part of a series of developments to ensure maximum comfortability for fans. Some of these changes are permanent, and spectators will have more ticket booths at their disposal. The organisers of the improvements put on a presentation last Thursday to show off the facilities to the media.

The Circuit de Catalunya, which has a huge capacity in the grandstands, has been expanded to welcome a larger number of spectators. This in turn has created the need to create more toilets, access zones and parking areas. The work undertaken will cement Montmeló's status as one of the finest European tracks.

More than 200 trees have been planted on the outskirts of the circuit as part of an annual reforestation program.
