Europeans set alarm clocks for China

The MotoGP World Championship makes it's second Asian visit of the season this weekend.

The Polini Grand Prix of China will see a change of schedule for European aficionados. Due to the time difference of GMT+8, practices, qualifying and races will all take place in the early hours of the morning.

On Friday and Saturday morning sessions will start from 9am. Sunday races will start an hour later than usual, with the 125cc race at midday, the 250cc meeting at 1.15pm, and the MotoGP big event at 3pm local time.
