Aprilia riders receive Supermoto gift

Jorge Lorenzo, Hector Barbera and Alex de Angelis were the recipients of gifts from the Aprilia factory at the Mugello Circuit, a spectacular Supermoto SXV, which they will be able to use for training and physical training.

The 250cc riders' bikes are the Racing model, which are used in competition. The 550cc version has been developed to specifications which give it 75CV of power.

It is also familiar to De Angelis, as he made his debut with a prototype version in the Spa Supermoto race in 2003. His feedback helped establish a direction for the development of the bike alongside 2004 S2 World Champion Gerome Giraudo.

Lorenzo and Barbera will now have a new bike with which to train at the motard tracks of Barcelona and Valencia, which they visit regularly.

The three riders will have the chance to try out the RS125 in the Junior GP, a competition to promote young riders.
