Changes to first-day timetable

The three MotoGP categories will tomorrow be given extra time in their first free practice session at the Assen Circuit, with the aim of helping the riders in adapting to the redesign of the Dutch track.

The day will start at 8:15AM local time, changing from the usual 9AM kickoff. The second half of the day will follow the normal timetable for the 125cc and 250cc qualifying sessions, and for the second MotoGP free practice.

The Assen Circuit has experienced a major change this year, having it's length cut considerably from 5,997m to 4,555. The largest modifications have been at the famous North Loop, although other points have also been subject to improvements.

The A-Style TT Assen race will take place on Saturday.
