Repsol Honda dominate premier class classification

The Repsol Honda team had a triumphant day in Holland, with a second MotoGP victory for Nicky Hayden and a top three place for Dani Pedrosa putting the them at the top of every table in the premier class. Hayden leads the championship over his Spanish team-mate by 42 points, also taking charge of the BMW M Award by a considerable margin. Honda are the frontrunners in both the team and constructors championships, making it a clean sweep of MotoGP domination.

Hayden's win, taking advantage of a number of injuries to his main rivals, was his first since Laguna Seca 2005 and Honda's 200th premier class triumph.

Pedrosa's third position was the result of a fierce battle with Casey Stoner which culminated in the Spaniard's crossing the line 30 thousandths of a second ahead of his Australian rival.
