Rossi back to speed in Donington

Valentino Rossi has made his intentions clear from the start of the GAS British Grand Prix practice sessions, riding just half a second off the pace set by fastest rider Dani Pedrosa despite continuing to suffer from a wrist injury.

The Camel Yamaha rider yesterday explained that he was in better condition than last week at Assen, and that he was expecting good results at his "second home track".

Rossi is fourth in the general classification, 46 points off leader Nicky Hayden.
