Rossi receives new protection

Valentino Rossi has been given new protectors from manufacturer Dainese, which he gives a debut this weekend at Donington Park.

The new protectors are comprised of materials developed by Dainese during recent seasons, worn by Rossi in private tests. The chest, abdominal and hand protectors have all been given a makeover, with the latter reinforcing one of the most frequently injured bodyparts of a MotoGP rider.

Dainese listened to input from both Rossi and Doctor Claudio Costa to modify the right glove in order to protect the Camel Yamaha rider's injured hand.
