Two new books unveiled at Donington

Publishing company Haynes used yesterday's first day of practice at Donington Park to officially unveil two motorcycle books: The Official MotoGP Performance Riding Skills book and a new biography of Barry Sheene written by Michael Scott.

The former is a guide to all the techniques used by today's top riders, written by a professional riding coach and including contributions from World Champion Valentino Rossi and current series leader Nicky Hayden. The latter covers the life of one of the premier class' most charismatic stars.

An array of figures from the world of bike racing attended the event in Donington Park's Senna Fangio Suite, including Randy Mamola, Loris Reggiani, Steve Parrish, Kenny Roberts and Didier de Radigues.

Haynes also announced that the Japanese biography of Dajiro Kato would be translated into English, with a possible official launch at Motegi.
