Checa happy with hard British race

Carlos Checa earned his third consecutive top ten finish at Donington Park, to the delight of the Spaniard and his Tech 3 team. Manager Herve Poncharal was particularly happy with the British race, commenting that "It was a good Grand Prix for us, despite the track temperature being around 40 degrees. Durability is still a going concern for us, but Carlos was fast in the second half of the race to overtake Tamada and De Puniet."

Checa himself was pleased with his performance, noting the difficulty of the race.

"There wasn't even a moment to relax after overtaking Tamada and De Puniet. I am happy with the entire weekend, as we were fighting hard and our bike and tyres worked well," added the Catalan rider in an exclusive quote for motogp.com
