Hayden: "Title race will be hard fought till the end"

Nicky Hayden was the only Repsol Honda representative present on day 2 in Brno, with Dani Pedrosa only undertaking one day of testing. The American took advantage of the unstable weather conditions to work with Michelin's latest wet weather tyres, in addition to some slicks which the French tyre company hope to use on the triple-run of September races.

The Kentucky Kid was happy with the performance of his new chassis over the two days, and took time out to speak with motogp.com about testing and the title race.

"It is pretty clear that the title race will be hard fought right until the end, but I'm enjoying it a lot," commented Hayden.
