Rossi draws crowds at Venice film festival

Valentino Rossi was the star of the first day of the 63rd Venice International Film Festival yesterday. The MotoGP star attended a party organized by famous watch maker Jaeger Le Coultre, with Rossi's. appearance making a big impression and the party organizers having to call the local police to help del with enthusiastic fans.

Festival director Marco Mueller went to meet Rossi, confessing his passion for MotoGP: "Whenever I can I'll find the time to watch him race on tv".

Rossi made no declaration to the press, apart from saying that if asked he'd like to make a movie with Brad Pitt, and that it would be better if he were to bring Angelina Jolie with him! After the party, Rossi attended the screening of "Hollywoodland", the story about the first actor to play the role of Superman on US TV. Present at the show were actors Ben Affleck, Adrien Brody, Diane Lane and Bob Hoskins.
