Alberto Puig: "Nobody was expecting such results from Dani"

The next few weeks will be crucial in deciding who will be the 2006 MotoGP World Champion, with up to five riders having the chance for glory.

One of those riders is Repsol Honda's Dani Pedrosa, and his manager Alberto Puig spoke to motogp.com this week about the exciting fight to the finish that is sure to ensue.

"Dani is having a great championship. Nobody expected the results that he's achieved, but he's right there in the title race and I think the other riders should be worried. Hayden is a clear contender, Rossi is a great champion with nothing to lose, and we are going to be right up there, hoping to continue the surprises as we believe Dani is doing very well," said Puig.
