Koyama excited by KTM move

Although Tomoyoshi Koyama is focused on the task at hand for the remaining two races of the 2006 season, the young Japanese rider can't hide his excitement at being signed by KTM for 2007. Currently riding for Malaguti, Koyama has had a difficult season due to injuries, but isn't ruling himself out of a title push next year.

"I am very satisfied with my signing for KTM, I know that I'll be under pressure but I'm sure that I'll be able to enjoy myself," said the Japanese rider in an exclusive interview with motogp.com. "I am going to have a factory bike available to me, with the chance to fight for the title. I know that this season has been difficult for me but next year I want to do big things."

Faced with the Estoril circuit, Koyama is optimistic based on his previous visit. "Last year I finished fifth in my first race here. I'm confident that this weekend I can fight for points."
