Dani Pedrosa was the fastest rider in the MotoGP warmup this morning, clocking a time of 1'37.609. Casey Stoner continued his good form in Portugal by completing the practice in second, ahead of Camel Yamaha riders Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. The rider who will join them on the front row, Nicky Hayden, was fifth, with Makoto Tamada rounding up the top ten.

Hiroshi Aoyama's 1'42.291 lap led the 250cc session, with the KTM rider ahead of Alex de Angelis, poleman Roberto Locatelli, Andrea Dovizioso, Hector Barbera and Shuhei Aoyama. Jorge Lorenzo could only manage to go round in 11th.

In 125cc, Alvaro Bautista remains one step ahead of the rest, putting in a 1'45.636 lap ahead of Julian Simon, Mike di Meglio, Gabor Talmacsi, Simone Corsi and Mika Kallio.
