Nakagami unstoppable in Japanese Championship

Takaaki Nakagami continues to impose himself on the All Japan 125cc Championship, with victory in Autopolis giving him a hat-trick of triumphs from the first three races of the season. The Red Bull MotoGP Academy rider, who finished 13th last season, looks to be unstoppable on his quest for the title.

Nakagami, who started from pole, bounced back from a discreet start to retake first on the third lap. The Japanese rider held onto the position from then until the chequered flag, and crossed the finish line with an advantage of nearly six seconds over the second placed rider.

The 14 year old rider is part of the Red Bull MotoGP Academy's second project, and will compete against in the second round of the CEV Buckler in Jerez next week alongside his classmates.
