Zanetti will continue his progression in 125cc with Skilled ISPA Racing
Fontana Racing are betting on a line of continuity in their next outing in the World Championship, counting on Lorenzo Zanetti to represent them on the 125cc grid under the official banner of Skilled ISPA Racing Team.
This 18 year old Italian showed his potential in a number of 2005 meetings, and could make himself one of the surprises of the season in the lower cylinder class of the World Championship. The rider from Brescia racked up a total of 30 points, which carried him to 17th position in the final standings. The fifth place achieved in the Czech Republic became his best result of the season. Zanetti will have two official motos from the Italian factory Aprilia in 2006.
The Fontana Racing Team have a provisional two days of practice at the start of February, for which they will use the Montmeló circuit. This occasion will be a good testing ground for the team, who wish to have a first trial before the official tests in Catalonia and Jerez in March.
