Podium finish for Talmacsi's "Arabian Night"

125cc rider Gabor Talmacsi's foray into car racing at the Dubai 24 Hour TT gave his "team for the day", Brokernet Silver Sting, a podium place in the prototype category and an interesting change of scenery for the Hungarian.

The start had been ominous for Talmacsi, as the team were hit from behind and suffered damage to their specially designed car. The newest addition to the Aspar 125cc team made up 11 places of the 100-car field during his runout, giving Brokernet 43rd overall.

"It was a fantastic race. I was a bit scared when driving at night, but I was surprised to find that I was able to put in the same times as during the day," commented Talmacsi. "I am happy with the laps and I had a lot of fun with the car, which is really easy to drive."
