Humangest raise the bar for di Meglio

Humangest Racing's 125cc branch have put together a grueling test schedule for new rider Mike di Meglio. The Frenchman will be put through his paces in the hope that this year he can repeat his 2005 Grand Prix victory, which he took in Turkey before enduring a tough season last term.

Mirko Cecchini, a Humangest Team Representative, is confident that di Meglio can make an impact on the lower cylinder category in 2007. "We think that Mike can get the most out of the power we have available to fight for the top positions. We won't have the parts and factory support like we had last year, but we can balance this out with the experience we have working with them in past seasons. We've changed the engine and chassis to allow us to run a faster bike."

Di Meglio first got on the Humangest bike last November, although suffered from poor weather conditions which impeded his opening test for the team. Next week they head to Jerez, followed by visits to Valencia and Barcelona. Their final preseason outings will be the Official Tests at the end of February/beginning of March.
