Hector Barbera was the fastest rider on day three of the Jerez test by over 6 tenths of a second, clocking a lap of 1'44.500 at the Spanish track. The Team Toth rider was once again trailed by 250cc rookie and former 125cc World Champion Thomas Luthi, who in turn was ahead of Alex de Angelis to complete an all-Aprilia top three. Marco Simoncelli and Roberto Locatelli completed the fastest five, whilst reigning World Champion Jorge Lorenzo only undertook six laps on the final day of testing.
